Dr Carol-Ann Dixon, PhD

Counseling Psychologist

My PhD in Relational Dynamics and Development has equipped me to understand relational dynamics and mechanisms between people. Relationships can be challenging and confusing. However, when people can make sense of their interaction, and learn different skills to repair ruptures, and reconnect, relationships can be rewarding and transformational.

About Me

I am a passionate psycho-therapist dedicated to helping couples, intergenerational relationships, families and workplace relationships navigate complex dynamics. Using Imago Relationship Therapy, I guide you to transform old patterns and strengthen connections across generations. We work together to foster safe, structured conversations. This approach suits those ready to understand relational challenges and find lasting healing.

Approach

I facilitate sessions that slow the pace so partners and family members can articulate long-held needs and be truly heard. I work with adults, children and couples in London and online, conducting sessions in English with gentle structure and clear timeframes. Sessions mix focused dialogue, reflection prompts and practical steps to try between meetings, with attention to intergenerational patterns. This way of working suits those ready to explore relational dynamics with patience and honesty.
