Ms Cara Gouws

Clinical Psychologist

I am a Clinical Psychologist with a passion for guiding individuals on their of self-discovery and healing. I am committed to helping people uncover their inner-selves, inner child and navigate the intricate pathways of their lives.

About Me

I am passionate about guiding individuals through self-discovery, helping them uncover their inner-selves and inner child. We explore past experiences together, understanding how they shape your present. This process helps you navigate life's intricate pathways with greater clarity. I aim to create a safe space where you can gently release old patterns and embrace healing.

Approach

Sessions unfold as a gentle exploration of the stories beneath your patterns, attending to early wounded parts while keeping attention on present life demands. I work in Pretoria and online, offering appointments in Afrikaans and English and pacing each encounter to your readiness. Through compassionate listening, careful assessment and reflective exercises we trace how past hurts influence relationships and choices, and I support practical steps you can try between meetings. People coping with abuse, relational pain or stuck patterns often find this approach steadying.
