Clinical Psychologist

verified by TherapyRoute

I use a person-centered but Jungian approach to therapy, integrating techniques from various therapeutic models to best suit your individual needs. Additionally, I have a special interest in depth psychology, which allows us to explore the unconscious aspects of your psyche, uncovering deeper insights and facilitating profound growth.

About Me

I am a clinical psychologist with a strong grounding in Jungian and depth-oriented psychotherapy. My work focuses on understanding both the conscious and unconscious aspects of a person’s inner world — the patterns, feelings, and symbolic meanings that shape how we experience ourselves and our relationships. While my orientation is rooted in depth psychology, therapy does not require any prior knowledge of Jungian ideas. I work in alignment with each client’s needs, pace, and level of comfort, ensuring that the process remains accessible, practical, and personally meaningful. Whether the work involves exploring deeper themes, understanding recurring patterns, or focusing on day-to-day emotional challenges, I shape the therapeutic journey collaboratively. I endeavour to offer a steady, reflective presence and value curiosity, safety, and authenticity in the therapeutic relationship. I aim to support clients in developing greater insight, integration, and a more grounded sense of self.

Approach

You’ll notice sessions shift between practical problem-solving and reflective depth work, so we can ease immediate distress while tracing recurring patterns beneath awareness. In Sandton or online, in English, I keep the pace steady—sometimes honing in on symptoms and clarity, at other times following dream imagery or free-associative threads to reveal unconscious material that informs treatment. Between meetings I offer brief reflections or focused tasks to anchor learning and shape our next steps. This way of working often suits people managing anxiety, mood instability, identity or psycho-legal concerns.
