Ms BinteZehra Naqvi

Psychologist

I am a Ph.D. scholar & a PsychoTherapist. I work with emotionally intense, self-aware individuals who want to understand why they feel what they feel, choose what they choose, and repeat what they repeat, especially in their relationships. I provide a non-judgmental space to explore patterns, challenge narratives, regulate emotions, and build connections rooted in consciousness rather than compulsion. My work blends evidence-based psychological practices including DBT, CBT, ACT, Trauma-Informed Care with existential depth. I offer structured reflection, emotional literacy, and the kind of clarity that actually changes how you relate, to others and to yourself.

About Me

I’m BinteZehra Naqvi, a therapist, Ph.D. scholar, and co-founder of Danish-o-Ramish (DoR), a community space & institute in Karachi where psychology, literature, & tradition intersect. My work lives at the heart of human relationships, messy, meaningful, and everything in between. I specialize in helping people untangle the knots in their romantic and personal lives, using DBT, CBT, ACT, trauma-informed care, and a lot of curiosity, often weaving in traditional and philosophical approaches to healing that honor the depth of the human experience. I don’t see people as problems to be fixed, I see them as stories waiting to be understood. I’m passionate about working with reflective clients who are ready to dig a little deeper. Outside the therapy room, I teach, write, and have a strong grounding in research methodology & data analysis. I also conduct supervisions, trainings, workshops, and seminars focused on relationship dynamics, emotional processes, and traditional psychological wisdom. I run support groups for individuals from different walks of life, including a dedicated circle for therapists and psychologists, all rooted in the values of community building, reflective dialogue, and collective healing.

Approach

I’m Freudian at heart, I love uncovering the stories we carry beneath awareness. Therapy with me is a space to notice, question, and create. We explore patterns in relationships and emotions, test assumptions, and translate insights into life. I weave in poetry, literature, and art, honoring the depth and texture of your story. It’s a non-judgmental, collaborative journey, measured, reflective, and personal.
