Benedict

Mr Benedict Choi

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I am a compassionate, warm and experienced clinician specializing in relationship therapy as well as trauma work with adults and couples. I utilize trauma informed modalities and am trained in EMDR, an approach that helps facilitate the reprocessing of memories that have been locked in the nervous system.

About Me

As a compassionate and experienced clinician, I help adults and couples navigate complex relationship dynamics and process past trauma. I use trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR, to gently reprocess memories that feel stuck in the nervous system. My aim is to foster healing, enhance connection, and bring you greater emotional ease in your life.

Approach

I orient sessions to a steady, attuned pace where safety and curiosity guide our work. I offer in-person meetings in Anaheim and secure online sessions in English, so therapy fits your life and schedule. In-session we use mindful grounding, stepwise resourcing and targeted bilateral reprocessing alongside relational experiments; between sessions I suggest brief practices to strengthen regulation and new ways of connecting. This approach tends to help individuals and partners who want practical, embodied shifts in how they relate and feel.
