Ms Azin Heydarirad

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I will work with you to get in tune with your inner child so you can begin the process of reparenting and healing. By the end of our sessions you will go inwards to self-soothe instead of depending on others to hold that space for you through a strengths-based approach.

About Me

I provide a warm, collaborative space to connect with your inner child and begin reparenting. We'll gently explore past experiences, uncovering your unique strengths to build inner resources. This strengths-based approach helps you learn to self-soothe from within, reducing reliance on others. This approach is ideal if you seek to heal old patterns and cultivate deeper inner stability.

Approach

You'll notice early on I guide attention toward your inner child with steady, curious pacing, helping you name unmet needs and small comforts that actually work. Sessions in Toronto or online, in English, blend present-moment grounding with short between-session experiments so new ways of soothing can land in daily life. I use mindful noticing, targeted cognitive shifts and gentle somatic checks to practice self-soothing and interrupt familiar anger, anxiety or relational patterns. This approach tends to fit adolescents and adults ready to build dependable inner resources.
