Ms Aruna Singh

Educational Psychologist

My name is Aruna Singh, . I am an educational psychologist. I have worked previously with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and SL. I conduct psychoeducational assessments, therapy for teenagers and play therapy for (verbally articulate) children 4 years of age onwards.

About Me

As an educational psychologist, I guide children and teenagers through their unique learning and emotional journeys. I have experience supporting those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Specific Learning Difficulties. For verbally articulate children aged four and up, play therapy offers a gentle way to explore feelings. I also provide focused therapy for teenagers. My psychoeducational assessments help understand individual strengths and challenges, supporting young people to flourish.

Approach

When a child or adolescent comes through my door, sessions are structured around curiosity, short activities and clear steps so young people feel safe to explore at their own pace. I work from a Sandton office and online in English, keeping sessions predictable and sharing simple notes with parents and teachers between meetings. Assessment findings shape small, practical goals we try together—sometimes using playful tasks, sometimes focused skill work—and progress is reviewed collaboratively. Families looking for steady, practical support often find this approach helpful.
