“I am a South Asian immigrant, queer of colour, non-binary therapist-in training with disabilities looking to help folx with mental health struggles, especially within queer, trans & BIPOC communities. I resonate deeply with those navigating identity & hope to address anxiety, stress, sadness, dissociation & grief.”
About Me
I resonate deeply with folx navigating identity, particularly within queer, trans, and BIPOC communities. My background as a South Asian immigrant, queer person of colour, non-binary, and with disabilities helps me understand. I offer support for those experiencing anxiety, stress, sadness, dissociation, and grief. My aim is to create a space where your unique journey is truly seen and understood.
Approach
When we meet, sessions move at your rhythm—gentle check-ins, naming sensations, and tracing how identity and past hurts show up in daily life. I offer flexible online sessions from Toronto and can work in English, Hindi/Urdu, or Punjabi to keep things accessible. We use grounding, relational tracking and practical experiments between sessions to reduce dissociation, ease anxiety, and untangle grief while staying attentive to cultural and bodily experiences. This approach often fits adolescents and adults navigating gender and cultural marginalization who want steady, collaborative care.
Services
I draw from trauma informed and evidence based modalities, including DBT informed approaches, attachment-based work, parts work and motivational interviewing.
