About Me

I’m a therapist who believes that therapy is not about fixing what is “wrong” with you, but creating a space to understand yourself with greater clarity, compassion, and curiosity. My work is grounded in the belief that our thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviours are deeply interconnected. I work collaboratively with clients to understand the patterns they may find themselves caught in, explore where these patterns come from, and develop ways of responding that feel more intentional and aligned with who they want to be.

Approach

My approach is integrative and tailored to the individual rather than being guided by a single therapeutic model. I draw from CBT, DBT, attachment-based, systemic, psychodynamic, emotion-focused, and parts-informed approaches, depending on what feels most relevant to the client and their goals. In therapy, we may work on understanding recurring thought and behavioural patterns, building emotional awareness and regulation, exploring relationships and attachment patterns, working with different parts of the self, or developing practical skills to navigate present-day challenges. I value both insight and action. Understanding why we respond in certain ways can be meaningful, but therapy can also be a space to experiment with new ways of relating, communicating, coping, and making choices.
