Are you struggling to understand your emotions, feel stuck in certain patterns, or wish to explore new ways of responding to life’s challenges? I am Anastasiia Marchenko, a psychologist (M.Sc.) and Gestalt therapist in training. I work with clients who seek to better understand themselves, overcome internal blockages, and discover new possibilities for personal growth.
My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and a deep belief in the inner resources that every individual carries. I offer a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly, develop self-awareness, and gain clarity about your next steps in life.
In Gestalt therapy, we focus on awareness, presence, and personal responsibility. I guide clients to recognize patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, helping them unlock their potential and find meaningful ways to navigate life’s challenges. CORE SERVICES:
I believe that each client carries the inner resources necessary for growth and change, and my role is to help you access and trust these strengths. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I see my clients as experts in their own lives. Together, we explore patterns of thought, emotion, and behaviour that may be holding you back, while identifying opportunities for insight, empowerment, and meaningful change.
Key elements of my approach include:
Holistic Exploration: I work with thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and relational patterns to support a comprehensive understanding of your experiences.
Safe and Supportive Environment: I provide a confidential and non-judgmental space where you can explore sensitive issues openly, fostering trust and safety in the therapeutic relationship.
Empathy and Respect: Every individual’s experience is unique. I listen deeply and honor your perspective, guiding you without imposing solutions, but helping you uncover your own answers.
Actionable Insights: While awareness is key, Gestalt therapy also emphasizes experimentation and new ways of engaging with life. We identify concrete steps you can take to change unhelpful patterns and enhance your personal well-being.
I work with individuals facing a wide range of personal and professional issues, including stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, and career-related challenges. Many of my clients come to therapy during times of transition—when familiar patterns no longer serve them, or when they feel stuck and unsure of how to move forward. Together, we identify inner blockages, strengthen self-awareness, and develop new ways of responding to life’s demands.
My practice is also well-suited for people seeking to improve their self-esteem, emotional well-being, and overall sense of clarity and direction. For international clients or those living between cultures, I provide a culturally sensitive approach that acknowledges and values the complexity of their experiences.
In Gestalt therapy, much of the discussion revolves around contact and the possibility of connection. Contact can take many forms—contact with yourself, when you notice what you want or don’t want; contact with the world, which may or may not respond to you; contact with another person, who you may like or may not.
What’s fascinating is that, in the end, it’s all about you. Contact is your experience—your interaction with the world and with others. And that can be scary. Another person might stir feelings of anger you didn’t know were there. It can feel awkward, with tension that’s hard to bear. Or it can feel safe, when people pass by on the street, smiling.
How contact unfolds is also your responsibility—you can influence it. And that brings a sense of calm, because it opens up choices: you can stay, you can change things, or you can walk away.
