Amanda Riley

Registered Psychotherapist

My approach is a highly collaborative, client-centred approach that allows clients to choose their direction in therapy and determine what is most important for them to work on. Goals are established in partnership with you, and sessions are scheduled at your convenience to discuss and resolve the concerns identified.

About Me

I offer a space where your voice truly leads your therapy. We’ll collaborate closely to shape your journey, ensuring our focus aligns with what matters most to you. This approach means we partner on setting clear goals, addressing concerns at your own pace. If you value autonomy and a supportive guide, our sessions help you find clarity and resolve challenges.

Approach

We begin by clarifying what feels most urgent to you and then shape our work so each session moves at a pace you find manageable and relevant. I offer in-person appointments in Ontario and secure online sessions in English, scheduled to fit your life. Sessions blend practical skills—for anxiety, ADHD, OCD and phobias—with careful exploration of mood and trauma, using structured tools, sensory-aware adjustments and brief between-session exercises when helpful. This approach tends to suit adults and couples who want an active, respectful collaborator as they build steady progress.
