About Me

I support young people aged 13 to 25 as they navigate various mental health challenges, offering practical ways to understand their thoughts and feelings. I also guide individuals recently diagnosed with dementia, and their families, to adapt to significant life changes. Drawing on approaches like CBT and Motivational Interviewing, I create a grounded space. We work together to explore difficulties and find clear, actionable steps. This helps build resilience and cope effectively.

Approach

Working with young people and families who are adjusting to big changes, I focus on practical, paced sessions that break concerns into manageable steps and test small changes between meetings. From Nairobi I offer English-language appointments in person and online, using focused assessment tools to guide work with adolescents, parents and those facing cognitive shifts. Sessions mix gentle challenge, reflective feedback and short between-session tasks so learning carries into daily life. This approach suits teenagers, young adults and families seeking straightforward, collaborative support.
