About Me
Approach
We’ve all been there, lying awake because our brain keeps running through that thing that happened 6 months ago, not quite able to find the solution that would allow us to just roll over and get enough rest to wake up and do it all over again. When your brain constantly worries about the future or gets stuck in reflections about the past, it's hard to enjoy (or even really notice) what’s happening right now. Whether a single event or a series of distressing or confusing moments, trauma changes our ability to cope and makes daily stress harder to handle, causes feelings of anxiety and sadness, and messes with relationships.
We will work on calming your brain's alarm system so you can process the past, handle the uncertainty of the future, and experience the present. We’ll explore old hurtful patterns and transform long-standing survival strategies into purposeful, self-compassionate ways to understand yourself so that you can build healthy connections and finally get some rest.
