About Me

I am a counselling psychologist in private practice who works with clients of all ages who want to attend to their psychological wellbeing. Typical challenges clients might experience include anxiety, depression, repetitive unhelpful thoughts, difficult life decisions and transitions, sleep difficulties, grief and loss, trauma, relationship difficulties and personal development. In addition to psychotherapy, I also offer career counselling to adolescents who are only starting their career journey, but also people of all ages wanting to design or redirect their career paths. My services are available in either English or Afrikaans.

Approach

I mainly incorporate schema therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) or cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) in my therapeutic approach to treat a variety of psychological challenges that clients might experience. I offer psychological evaluation, career counselling and individual psychotherapy sessions tailored to the needs and goals of my client. My aim is to create a safe psychotherapeutic space for clients to alleviate emotional pain and suffering while collaborating with clients to find a route towards reaching their therapeutic goals and a state of wellbeing.
