Mr Alexander Armenis

Clinical Psychologist

Psychotherapist, Author and Public Speaker. Registered clinical psychologist in private practice.

About Me

I am a Clinical Psychologist and registered Psychologist based in Stellenbosch. I provide psychological and diagnostic assessments and therapy for anxiety, chronic illness distress, mood disorders, and relationship issues.

Approach

My focus is on working with clients in a way that best suits their unique needs. I follow an integrated approach with a developmental perspective. I work on the cognitive (thoughts), affective (feelings), behavioral and physiological levels in terms of determining whether the objective of therapy is to alter self-defeating thought patterns and beliefs, or work with emotions to gain a deeper understanding (insight-based) about what motivates behavior, or whether to alter problem behaviors and improve body awareness.
