About Me
I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, burnout, and emotional difficulties, particularly those shaped by early traumatic experiences or neurodivergent ways of being. Drawing on a psychodynamic approach, I support clients in exploring how earlier life experiences and current circumstances influence their present emotional world and patterns of relating. Through this process, I aim to help individuals develop deeper insight, strengthen their capacity for reflection, and feel more able to navigate life with greater independence and self-understanding. This therapeutic space offers an opportunity to better understand one’s inner world and to discover new, more meaningful ways forward.
Approach
I practise in a safe, bilingual space, offering sessions in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, either at my Petaling Jaya office or online. My work balances careful, focused listening with timely reflections and gentle, practical experiments between sessions. Together, we explore patterns linked to behaviour, emotional responses, mood shifts, challenges, and even impulses, with the aim of recognising them and testing new ways of responding.
Many people come feeling that their situations are too difficult to change, or feeling hopeless and worthless. While change can feel daunting, it is possible with growing insight, motivation, and support. Therapy offers a space where things can begin to feel more hopeful, but meaningful change ultimately emerges when the individual is ready and willing to engage in that process.
