I work with adults who struggle with anxiety, self-esteem, difficult relationships, or painful experiences from their past that continue to affect their lives. I help them understand the patterns behind these difficulties and build deeper, lasting change.

About Me

I am a clinical psychologist with 16 years of experience working with adults. I offer a warm, thoughtful and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about what is happening in your life, including experiences that may be difficult to understand or put into words. In our work together, we will explore not only what is causing distress today, but also the experiences and relationship patterns that may be shaping how you feel, relate to others, and respond to difficulties. I believe therapy should respect each person's pace and unique history, rather than applying the same solutions to everyone. I work with people experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, trauma and important life transitions. I particularly welcome Spanish-speaking people living abroad, who may value having a therapeutic space in their own language while navigating relationships, identity, belonging, or the challenges of building a life away from home. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply and develop changes that feel meaningful and lasting.

Approach

My approach is psychoanalytic and relational. I understand therapy as a process of exploring not only the difficulties you are experiencing today, but also the experiences, relationships and emotional patterns that have shaped the way you understand yourself and relate to others. Rather than offering quick solutions or applying the same techniques to everyone, I aim to understand your experience in its own context. Together, we can identify patterns that may once have helped you cope or protect yourself, but that today may be causing distress or limiting your relationships and choices. The therapeutic relationship itself is an important part of this process. I aim to create a space where you can feel safe enough to explore difficult or confusing experiences without judgment or pressure, at a pace that feels manageable for you. Through greater understanding and emotional awareness, therapy can open the possibility for deeper and more lasting change.

Services

I provide individual psychotherapy for adults experiencing anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, trauma and the lasting impact of difficult life experiences, emotional distress, and important life transitions. I also work with people who struggle with self-criticism, high self-expectations, recurring relationship patterns, or the feeling that they have to manage everything on their own. I particularly welcome Spanish-speaking adults living abroad who are looking for a therapeutic space in their own language. Therapy can also provide a space to explore the emotional and relational challenges of migration, adaptation, identity, belonging, and living far from familiar relationships and support networks. Sessions are available online.
