Maresa

Ms Maresa De Beer

Clinical Psychologist

I have been in private practice since 2002. I offer short- and long-term therapy and supervision for new clinicians.

About Me

With private practice experience since 2002, I offer a steady, grounded approach. I tailor therapy to your unique needs. This means offering short-term support for specific concerns, or embarking on a deeper, long-term journey. Our sessions provide a flexible space to explore challenges. Here, you can find clarity at your own pace, feeling truly heard.

Approach

Having practised since 2002, I work in a steady, grounded way that balances practical strategies with reflective exploration to meet whatever pace you prefer. In Cape Town or online, in English or Afrikaans, sessions feel calm and focused — we clarify immediate concerns, gently explore underlying patterns, and agree on small experiments between meetings. I also offer reflective supervision for newer clinicians to deepen learning. This way of working tends to suit adults facing relationship, identity, mood or stress-related challenges who want collaborative, paced change.
