Miss Leanne Kay

Clinical Psychologist

Clinical psychologist currently practicing in Port Elizabeth working mostly from a cognitive behavioral therapy approach. All ages welcome.

About Me

Working as a clinical psychologist, I welcome clients of all ages. My main approach is cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). It guides you to understand your thoughts and feelings. This practical method equips you with clear, actionable strategies. I offer a supportive space for all ages; from children learning new coping skills to adults seeking clarity. My aim is to help you develop lasting ways to manage challenges and improve your well-being.

Approach

Based in Gqeberha, I focus on practical, step-by-step work that helps you notice patterns and try small changes between sessions. Sessions move at a pace you set — often a mix of short skill-practice, brief reflection and agreed homework so progress feels tangible. With children I use play and simple tasks; with adults we build clear strategies to reduce anxiety, lift mood and strengthen self-worth. This approach suits people who want straightforward tools and steady, collaborative progress.
