Mrs Christelle Du Plessis

Educational Psychologist

An experienced educational psychologist. Working with children and their families to help them overcome life's difficulties.

About Me

As an experienced educational psychologist, I work closely with children and their families. My focus is supporting young people through life's challenges, fostering resilience. We explore practical strategies together, helping to make sense of difficulties at school or home. This collaborative approach ensures children feel understood and more confident in finding their way forward.

Approach

Helping young people navigate difficulties, I focus on collaborative, practical steps that build confidence and clearer routines. Sessions in Sandton or online, in English or Afrikaans, are calm and predictable, paced to each child or family. We use playful tasks, focused assessment and guided reflection to spot patterns and try small, doable strategies between meetings so skills become part of daily life. This way suits adolescents and caregivers seeking practical, hands-on support and real progress.
