Mrs Debra Myburgh

Registered Professional Counselor

Offering 30 years experience of counselling, psychological and play therapy care.

About Me

Drawing on three decades of experience, I guide individuals and families seeking compassionate support. My approach blends comprehensive Counseling and psychological care for adults with specialised play therapy for children. I aim to create a truly nurturing space where all can explore feelings and find clarity. Clients appreciate my extensive background, offering a steady, experienced presence as they navigate challenges.

Approach

With thirty years' experience behind me, therapy unfolds in a calm, purposeful way that honours each person's pace and story. In Sandton or online, in English or Afrikaans, sessions balance respectful listening with gentle structure—playful, observant work for children and reflective, goal-focused dialogue for adults and families. Between sessions I offer practical reflections or simple tasks to help new patterns take hold, and I check in when helpful. This approach suits those seeking steady, compassionate support through change and loss.
